More games to play
MiniGiants.io is a free top-down multiplayer deathmatch game you can play right in your browser with no download required. You control a MiniGiant, collect experience orbs, fight other players, and grow bigger as you level up. It runs unblocked at school or work as long as browser games are allowed. Rated 4.4 out of 5 by over 20,000 players, it is one of the more polished games in the .io genre.
What is MiniGiants.io?
MiniGiants.io is a top-down arena brawler made by Niight Steed Games, the same studio behind EvoWars. The core loop is simple: you pick up glowing experience orbs scattered around the map, level up, and get physically larger and harder to kill. When you defeat another player they drop a chest, and that chest can contain gear that makes your character stronger. Three arena tiers keep matches roughly balanced by skill and size, so you are not immediately stomped by the largest players in the lobby.
Controls and movement
Movement is mouse-driven. Point your cursor to steer, click to attack, and right-click to burn stamina for a short speed burst.
| Action | Input |
|---|---|
| Move | Mouse pointer direction |
| Attack | Left mouse button |
| Speed boost | Right mouse button |
Chest rarities and loot
Defeated players drop chests in one of five rarity tiers. Higher-rarity chests give better armor, rings, and helmets. The Divine Chest has a 50% chance of dropping legendary or mythic gear.
| Chest | Rarity tier |
|---|---|
| Wooden | Common |
| Gold | Uncommon |
| Magic | Rare |
| Crystal | Epic |
| Divine | Legendary |
Classes and how to unlock them
There are eleven classes, each with a distinct stat bonus. Barbarian starts at level 0 and gives +50% stamina. The rest unlock as you hit the required level: Tank at 3, Fairy at 6, Amazon at 9, Necromancer at 12, Mage at 15, Cleric at 18, Beast at 21, Knight at 24, Succubus at 27, and Angel at 30. Reaching those levels in-game is the only unlock requirement.
Tips for surviving and growing faster
- Stay away from larger players in the early minutes and farm orbs instead.
- Fight smaller or same-size opponents to level up without much risk.
- Grab every chest you see; even low-rarity loot adds up in the early game.
- Swap gear as you find better items rather than holding onto your starting equipment.
- Advance to the next arena only when you feel comfortable, since the Novice arena is forgiving while Master is not.
